With spectacular views of Table Mountain, False Bay and Stellenbosch to commend them as well as natural advantages for viticulture, the Jordan vineyards are planted between 160m and 420m above sea level on slopes populated with classic varieties.
The 146 hectare estate is well established and boasts a 300 year history. It has been owned by the innovative Jordan family for over 30 years and today winemakers Gary and Kathy Jordan oversee production of a fantastic range of high quality wines. Both are highly qualified, having studied at the Davis Institute in California and between them gained degrees in Economics and Geology.

Sauvignon Blanc 2007
Intense complex fruit structure of green and red pepper, with aromatic, herbaceous scents on the nose.
This follows through on the palate adding tropical fruit and a complex green fig minerality on the finish.
Barrel Reserve Chenin Blanc 2007
French oak adds style and class to this magical grape.
A contemporary and deliciously mouth-filling experience of citrus cream, tropical fruit and honey interlaced with a spicy complexity.
Merlot 2006
Mature vineyards yield opulent fruit with plum, rich blackberry and mocha flavours.
Framed by generously rounded tannins and spiciness from maturation in French oak, this wine is seductive from start to finish.
Syrah 2004
Dense, rich, black-fruited flavours, white pepper and spice laced with dark chocolate.
Barrel maturation adds toasty nuances to the richly textured structure.
Nine Yards Chardonnay Reserve 2006
Butterscotch, spicy cloves, lemon/lime and orange peel with complex mineral citrus flavours.
A rich mouthfeel and subtly balanced toasty French oak integrate with the long, tropical peach and melon finish.
Cobblers Hill 2004
Complex dark chocolate, black cherry and cassis intertwine with opulent blackberry fruit, and hints of mint and toasty vanilla.
This is a big, mouth-filling wine, with densely layered ripe tannins. Beautifully balanced and refined, the impressive Cobblers Hill is the ultimate expression of the Jordan terroir.
